Domenica 22 settembre a Firenze, nell'ambito della convention FirenzeGioca 2013, con la presenza di 100 giocatori è stato battuto il Record Mondiale per la più grande partita di Wings of Glory, stabilito in precedenza nel 2011 a Torrance, California.

L'evento è stato organizzato dal negozio Mister Neko di Firenze e si è svolto su un tavolo di 20 metri di lunghezza, attrezzato con plance di gioco appositamente realizzate.

Alla partita hanno partecipato anche Andrea Angiolino, autore del gioco e Attilio (Attila57) Wing Commander dell'Italian Wing di WoG.

Tra i molti partecipanti spiccava la presenza dei nuclei storici di giocatori di Firenze, Massa e La Spezia.

La giornata splendida e la collocazione del tavolo da gioco lungo l'argine dell'Arno hanno contribuito al successo della manifestazione.

I 100 giocatori, con un aereo a testa, si sono suddivisi tra le due fazioni, Imperi Centrali e Alleati.

La partita ha visto la vittoria degli Alleati con i seguenti risultati:

Aerei Imperiali abbattuti: 19

Aerei Alleati abbattuti: 10

Aerei Alleati fuggiti: 4

Notevole la soddisfazione degli organizzatori per la piena riuscita dell'iniziativa.

Al termine della partita Mister Neko ha regalato una plancia ciascuno ai club di Roma, Massa e Spezia, mentre le altre sono state messe all'asta per beneficienza.

Sunday, September 22 in Florence, under the convention FirenzeGioca 2013, with the presence of 100 players has been beating the World Record for the largest game of Wings of Glory, established earlier in 2011 in Torrance, California.

The event was organized by Mister Neko shop in Florence and it was played on a table of 20 meters in length, equipped with game boards suitably designed.

The game was also attended by Andrea Angiolino author of the game and Attilio (Attila57) Wing Commander of the WoG Italian Wing.

Among the many participants stood out the presence of the historical nucleus of players of Florence, La Spezia and Massa.

The beautiful day and the location of the table along the bank of the river Arno contributed to the success of the event.

The 100 players, with a plane-to-head, were divided between the two factions, the Central Powers and the Allies.

The game saw the victory of the Allies with the following results:

Imperial aircraft shot down: 19

Allied aircraft shot down: 10

Allied planes fled: 4

Considerable satisfaction of the organizers for the overall success of the initiative.

At the end of the game Mister Neko gave a game board each to the club of Rome, La Spezia and Massa, while the others were auctioned for charity.
